Since their auspicious debut in
the fall of 1999 The Long Run has developed a nationwide
reputation for consistently delivering engaging
performances of superb quality. Marked by exceptional
musical accuracy, vocal authenticity and a warm connection
with their audience The Long Run’s stage shows blend
a reverence for the Eagle’s beloved studio recordings
with the all-important live concert element, truly
reminiscent of the Eagles themselves.
Founding members Gary Hagen and Gary Grantham, who sing the
vocals of Don Henley and Glenn Frey, assembled a group of
remarkably skilled and highly dedicated
singers/instrumentalists who share a love of the songs and
the desire to bring the music of the Eagles live to
audiences everywhere. Chris Varosy’s gritty
performances of Joe Walsh classics, Jim Wootten’s
seemingly effortless renderings of Timothy B. Schmit and
Randy Meisner and Stephen Patt’s scorching slide and
sweet pedal steel guitars all meld together to forge the
sonic legitimacy that has helped The Long Run to find
it’s place among the more respected tribute acts
within the highly competitive Los Angeles entertainment
community. “… We’ve always known we
weren’t going to look
just like the
Eagles so we figured we’d better sound as much like
them as our talents will allow and be really nice
guys!”
The 2007 O’Fest is proud to bring you this special
4th
of July concert of
Eagles’ hits like Take
It Easy, Life In The Fastlane, Witchy Woman, Desperado,
Hotel California, I Cant’ Tell You Why and
Lyin’ Eyes and experience the Eagles with
THE LONG RUN.
