Ventura’s writing usually occurs at two in the morning when all the two-dollar bottles of wine are empty on the floor. That's where his true emotions slowly leak out. You can't hide from the pain or the happiness when the music starts to drip. His other inspirations for song writing are brought on by beautiful films or, as he shamefully admits, a great episode of Oprah Winfrey.
He has been in various bands but has come to realize that he knows exactly how he wants to sound and he's finally found the courage to follow his heart. Ventura’s goal is to make the listener feel, since he believes, we sometimes move too fast to feel what's going on around us.
