Code Enforcement:
For protection and safety, municipal codes will be closely monitored and enforced at OFest.
Alcohol and Smoking:
• Public consumption of alcoholic beverages is prohibited, per O.C.C. 20.40 (b).
• Public drunkenness is prohibited per C.P.C. 647(f)
• Smoking on the beach and in public parks is prohibited per O.C.C. 10.A
What to bring or NOT bring to the beach
• Glass on the beaches and parks is prohibited per O.C.C. 21.01
• Use of the beach fire rings is permitted from 6 am to 11 pm. All material must be confined within the ring: clean wood only is allowed. Wood pallets and other large objects are not allowed in the fire rings. Fire ring usage is regulated by O.C.C. 19.2
• Charcoal barbecues must be safely extinguished. Burnt charcoal is to be disposed of in a designated contaner or fire ring per O.C. 19.4.
• Littering is prohibited per O.C.C. 19.4.
• Tents are prohibited on the beach per O.C.C. 19.5 Open sided shade canopies are permitted; however, no canopies will obstruct lifeguard operations.
• No dogs are allowed on the pier O.C.C. 18.6
• No animals on the beach per O.C.C. 19.6
• No personal fireworks are permitted at anytime.
